SEC. 1237. REPORT ON INF TREATY COMPLIANCE INFORMATION SHARING.

(a) IN GENERAL.Not later than 60 days after the

6 date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, 7 in coordination with the Secretary of Defense and the Di8 rector of National Intelligence, shall submit to the appro-

2 1 priate congressional committees a report on information 2 and intelligence sharing with North Atlantic Treaty Orga3 nization (NATO) and NATO countries on compliance 4 issues related to the INF Treaty. 5 (b) ELEMENTS.The report required under sub-

6 section (a) shall include the following elements: 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 (1) A description of all compliance and consistency issues associated with the INF Treaty, including a listing and assessment of all Ground Launched Russian Federation Systems being designed, tested, or deployed with ranges between 500 kilometers and 5,500 kilometers. (2) An assessment of INF Treaty compliance and consistency information sharing among NATO countries, including (A) sharing among specific NATO countries and the NATO Secretariat; (B) the date specific information was shared; and (C) the manner in which such information was transmitted. (3) If any information on INF Treaty compliance or consistency was withheld from a specific NATO country or the NATO Secretariat, a justification for why such information was withheld.

3 1 (c) UPDATES.Not later than 180 days and one year

TREATY.The

term INF Treaty

means the Treaty Between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the Elimination of their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles, signed at Washington December 8, 1987.
