Federal Judge Blocks New Texas Anti-Abortion Law

Texas sought to ban a common procedure for ending second-term pregnancies. Courts in four other states have blocked similar laws.

A federal judge in Texas has overturned a ban on a commonly used second trimester abortion procedure, dealing another blow to efforts to restrict abortion in that state.
