In recent years, the United States has been making some progress turning into a reality for working parents. This week, Massachusetts got a step closer to offering the most generous paid leave law in the country, joining , , and , plus, as one of the few places that offers paid family and medical leave in the U.S. And several major companies, including Walmart and Starbucks, have expanded their paid leave policies to help their workers. But a new law might threaten this progress, and it's being supported by none other than a human resources organization.
