So Petta is Rajinikanth’s first Pongal release in 24 years. And that calls for double the celebration.

The film comes right after the success of the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2010 film, , starring Akshay Kumar. So, that Rajini fans are behaving like toddlers on a sugar rush, is a given.
