Cryogenic tanks in ‘OO’

TANK wagons are popular with modellers, not least because many have specialist uses, were built in small numbers with specific fittings, and there is no need to account for loaded and empty wagons within a train as one might with coal or aggregate traffic. So, when a brand-new model of an air-braked tank wagon is released, it generates a great deal of interest in the modelling community – even more so when Olivia’s Trains chose to commission a particularly interesting tank wagon from Heljan for its latest ‘OO’ gauge special edition model.
