Bill Barr sells his soul to the devil

What a difference five months makes. Until last December, when Donald Trump nominated him for attorney general, Bill Barr was one of Washington's most highly respected attorneys. A conservative Republican, for sure, but one who'd served with distinction in the CIA and the Justice Department, including two years as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush. Justice Department lawyers cheered his nomination because, one source told CNN, unlike Jeff Sessions, Barr was "tough, principled, and independent."
