Lorraine’s Lozenges

Lorraine’s preferred method of stitching these days is hand stitching — and this is a perfect pattern for this slow and satisfying process. These shapes could be sourced as papers and used to create the quilt using the English paper piecing method, however the instructions are for making your own templates and drawing the shapes onto the back of your fabrics.

This is a great stash buster — in fact, Lorraine used only fabrics from her stash. The inclusion of light squares across the and draw the eye to the smaller squares.
