NFL power rankings for Week 4: The Bears move up — but so does the rest of the NFC North

1. Patriots 3-0 (1)
Antonio Brown is in the rearview mirror. When Brown's bizarre off-field behavior, which includes allegations of sexual assault, generated too much heat, the Patriots cut ties with the wide receiver Friday afternoon. Brown's short stay certainly wasn't a distraction when the Patriots coasted to a 30-0 lead Sunday before the Jets scored a pair of late defensive touchdowns. On to Buffalo.
2. Chiefs 3-0 (2)
They faced a good early season challenge, and the Ravens didn't slow Patrick Mahomes one bit. The Chiefs scored 23 points in the second quarter to race to a comfortable lead en route to a 33-28 victory. Mahomes passed for 374 yards and three touchdowns and has multiple touchdown passes in 14 consecutive games, one shy of Peyton Manning's record. Mahomes will go against the Lions at Ford Field next week. The Chiefs have won 10 consecutive games in September.
3. Rams 3-0 (3)
Jared Goff was responsible for three turnovers, two of them interceptions, as the Rams weren't sharp Sunday night in Cleveland. But the Rams have the kind of defense that can bail out an offense. Aaron Donald and Clay Matthews led a ferocious front seven that got after Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and made a four-down stand inside its own 5-yard line in the final minute. Cornerback Aqib Talib did fine work on wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. too.
4. Cowboys 3-0 (4)
