Heated gloves

If you're an all-year rider you will be well aware of just what a difference a pair of decent winter gloves can make. And there’s a good chance that you have sampled some heated gloves, too. Here at MSL we're big fans of anything that makes riding more pleasant, and at this time of the year heated kit does just that. In the last issue we tested heated jackets, and in this issue we are investigating heated gloves. You can use these gloves on their own, or if you prefer, you can plug them into the matching heated jackets. The plugs are fairly interchangeable, but it's best to check before you mix and match different brands. To get a good picture of what you're going to get if you go for the top-level heated gloves we tested three pairs from two leading manufacturers. And what we found out was that with a bit of well-chosen kit you can fight the elements and keep riding through the chilly months.
