Belle, . There’s been a shift in the beauty industry with social media giving consumers more power. Brands are Interviewing the late Karl Lagerfeld at the Mulholland Drive home of a Californian orange juice magnate, hiking the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail in Japan and riding the range at a ranch in Texas. Growing up in Melbourne, the anti-Australian dream works of the city’s late artist, John Brack, taught me to question cultural norms, and the writings of Joan Didion inspired me to become a journalist. I live in Surry Hills. Everything I want or need is within walking distance and it still has a neighbourhood vibe despite the gentrification. I’ll be spending three weeks volunteering at the Corfu Donkey Rescue sanctuary in Greece after the same amount of time in the seaside town of Suhi Potok, Croatia, for a dear friend’s 50th.
