Strike the right balance

Despite fears over the corona-virus outbreak and sluggish economies, not everyone is advocating a switch to more defensive assets such as cash, fixed interest and bonds.

“We think there is no alternative to equities,” Sean Taylor, chief investment officer for Asia Pacific and head of emerging markets at DWS Group, told the recent Financial Standard Chief Economists Forum.
