Your wedding shouldn’t necessarily feature all of your favorite foods, especially if they don’t go together—like foie gras and cheese grits. Picking a theme before you set the menu will help ensure the dishes you choose work well as a whole. Consider paying tribute to your family heritage with ethnic choices, like Mexican, Italian or Japanese cuisine.
