Supply is limited

Demand in the automobile market has changed. High end automobiles are currently in demand. Clients consider luxury cars as useful products and are willing to spend their money. Supply is limited to the stock that is available at the showrooms and each dealer manages their business differently.

According to , General Manager at T. Gargour & Fils, agents of Mercedes Benz, the models in demand are those, Marketing Manager at RYMCO, dealer of Infinity and Nissan, among others. The current demand, which started to appear in the last month of 2019, was not sufficient to improve the numbers of sales in the market. New car sales decreased 33 percent last year compared to the preceding year, according to the Automobile Importers Association (AIA). Only 706 new cars were sold in the last month of 2019. Mercedes only sold 36 cars in that month. “Our sales decreased around 70 percent in the last two years,” said Aoun.
