It all starts with a 1.2 Corsa D. The mass market supermini isn’t quite as glamorous as a range-topping VXR – and it can’t take the fight to the faster car’s turbocharged 1.6 Z16LER – but the simple Vauxhall makes a perfect first car. For Ryan Crew, the basic machine sparked an enthusiasm that’s still burning today. “It was my first car and I immediately fell in love with the shape,” he remembers. We can see why.
