    Ons organisasie erken die rol van die Wetenskaplike Owerheid in ooreenstemming met artikels 61 en 62 van die Nasionale Omgewingsbestuur: Biodiversiteitswet (Wet No. 10 van 2004), om die minister te adviseer oor die kwota van trofeë vir luiperdjag in Suid-Afrika. WRSA het onlangs sekere voorstelle aan die Wetenskaplike Owerheid en die departement van omgewingsake gemaak rakende ’n kwota vir luiperdjag vir 2019.
