BOSTON MADE EXHIBIT

he Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is currently presenting a new exhibit, “Boston Made: Arts and Crafts Jewelry and Metalwork.” The exhibit presents the works of artists in the Arts and Crafts movement in Boston in the early 20th century. The artists — many of them women — created pieces which united design and handcraftsmanship.

Ready, Set, Move
THE DATE was 1999. The stone was labradorite. At most, I’d completed six or seven pices and had no idea what to do with this incredibly gorgeous stone. Lee Floyd suggested a shadowbox design, and Don Vercellotti suggested a bail to accentuate the pla
