A Hidden Recovery

The CKGSB Business Sentiment Index continued to indicate a slight expansion in the second quarter. The score of 51 marks the first time the BSI has remained above the baseline of 50 since the survey began four years ago. This indicates that the fundamental conditions in China’s industrial economy are continuing to improve, despite the current market pessimism.
