I was most interested to read your article on antifouling (Technical Antifouling - Keep your hull cleaner for longer, YM, February 2020). It made very clear we are dealing with a nasty poisonous chemical. No doubt it was written with the safety of the sailor in mind and contains good advice, but that same hazardous chemical is applied to thousands of boats every spring in the UK before they are immersed in the sea.
