A sensible default configuration counts for a lot, but everyone’s tastes are different and it’s nice to be able to change those defaults to suit different personalities and workflows. We’re not considering extensions here, because they have a different category. This section is about tweaking existing functionality and appearances.
Gnome’s tool has, to the chagrin of many, taken a direction towards simplicity. In this way, much like the rest of Gnome, it can’t be configured without resorting to external tools or the command line. Not so all our offerings
