Sushant Singh Rajput was an actor to look out for. His dedication and sincerity were appealing. Kai Po Che underlined the fact that TV face or not, he could hit the ball out of the park when it came to believable performances. A cricket fan himself, he went on to play one of India’s best cricket captains, MS Dhoni, on the big screen. His last performance in Chhichhore saw him playing a concerned father, troubled with the fact that his son had tried to commit suicide due to exam pressure. The news of his untimely demise, on 14 June, has come as a shock to us all. In his remembrance, we present a list of some of the best films of his career, tragically cut short by his death.
