No Pistons Smallblock

WE spotted this on social media recently and thought readers might be interested in this outside-the-square concept. It’s an electric motor mounted inside a Chevy smallblock. It looks like a typical mouse motor from the outside, complete with stock Chevrolet bell housing and Chevy motor mounts. Beneath that veneer, however, is a High Performance Electric Vehicle Systems electric motor and the pair of controllers needed to throttle it. The project is the brainchild of British Columbia’s Chris Webb, and this concept is currently a one-off prototype, but his goal is to build a kit which drops into most vehicles without major modifications.
