A scene from Exodus

In the book of Exodus we find a scene where the children of Israel desperately needed some direction. They had the chasing Egyptians behind them, the mountains to the side of them, and the sea in front of them. The people started to cry out and complain to Moses. Why have you done this? Why have you brought us out into the desert to die? Where there not enough graves in Egypt? “And the Lord said to Moses: ’Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” – Exodus 14:15.
