It always needs content, ideally under 1,000 words: ‘Less is better. But not too less.’ Most pieces are 300-750 words. They want ‘funny writing: premise-driven humour pieces, humorous essays, illustrated and cartoon pieces, and occasionally comedic fiction — if it feels right.’ Don’t submit ‘fake-news/Onionstyle pieces.’
