About this audiobook

Will Little Acorn ever be a big, strong oak tree? It is so hard for him to imagine, but then, what else can he do? So he waits and grows, and grows and waits, and one day, discovers that not only is he now Big Oak, but his strong branches are just right for a very special purpose. This is a story of the miracle inside each child - for within each one of us is the special person God created, just waiting to grow.

For within every child is the special person God created, just waiting to grow. "'Just be the tree God made you to be,'said Mother Oak." Sometimes I forget that God has a plan for me. I never thought about it when I was little. I'd love to do an activity in the classroom where we speculate about what His plan will be for our lives. We could tie it to our character traits and what we enjoy doing. We could do an imaginative profile of where we'll be in twenty years. I think the students would love that.
