Reviews for A Dark and Lonely Place
15 ratings3 reviews
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Story of 2 men named John Ashley, and the woman they love, Laura - set about 100 years apart in FL. I liked it, but I like the Britt Montero series better.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book was fun and although at times the past and the present storylines didn't quite mesh, I still found myself rooting for John Ashley and Laura. Based on real historical characters I did enjoy reading about the history of early Miami, rum running, stills and prohibition as well as Colonel Dade and the Seminole Indians in the Everglades.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good read from one of my favorite authors.
