About this audiobook
Joe Alister was in charge of taking out the garbage at school. They were the most foul-smelling, leaky bags of garbage Joe had ever come across. One day when he slung the garbage bags into the dumpster, something threw them out. Something oozy and slimy and very, very angry.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Remains one of the best in the series, with great use of sound effects and voice acting to enhance the story. Good recommendation for young fans of scary stories and limited only by the run-of-the-mill "the robot is evil" plot.
For the adults, this one is fun because it deals a little bit with the inter-connectedness of computer networks in an early internet era. While communication across distances predates the internet of course, I think this plot rings a little more "tangible" because of the possibilities the internet promised for young readers at the time this book was written, me included.
