About this audiobook

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

A lot of drama in this one! I’m glad some questions I had at the end of the first one were answered in this and came together. Unsure why I would continue with the series though when they were answered.

What a page turner! Solid performance by Jill Redfield - Excellent narration of all the characters through all of the ups and downs. This story is jam-packed with drama - too much drama for me, but that is just me personally. I don't think it is too much for most readers. I'm really glad I tackled this series with enough heat to burn NY to the ground!

I found the first novel in the series a bit lacking, but this second one, wow, blew my mind. I wasn't expecting this until the middle of the book, then I understood what it was all about. Incredible!

I loved it! Still want to know about the shirt in his office. The twist and turns the book has are so good!

This relationship is so toxic. Hahahahaha. I love it .
Gideon is just extra sketchy for no reason at all. Why were we never given an explanation on the whole incident in the beginning where his office was a ruckus and his shirt was stained in lipstick? No sir. Please explain yourself.
And Eva! She's a runner, she is a track star. You can always guarantee her acting a fool instead of having mature reactions to stuff.
Also, I absolutely hate the bisexual representation in this. I get that the books are like 7 years old, but the way they are painting bisexuals as promiscuous sexual fiends is intolerable.
Now, am I going to continue with this series? Absolutely yes. Like I said, these two are toxic and very entertaining to read about. And I'm just waiting for Eva to give in to the submissive relationship so Gideon can blow both our minds lol.
