About this audiobook
Vince Flynn’s intensely suspenseful #1 New York Times bestseller puts the young, hungry, and lethal superagent of American Assassin in the crosshairs even as he kills with impunity.
In the year since the CIA trained and then unleashed him, Mitch Rapp has dismantled, kill by untraceable kill, the network of monsters behind the Pan Am Lockerbie terrorist attack. The hunt leads to Paris, where a deadly trap is sprung as the bullet leaves Rapp’s silenced pistol—followed by the discovery of nine bodies, including Libya’s oil minister, in one of the city’s finest hotels. Washington wants no part of the international crisis, and Rapp is deemed a liability by Stan Hurley, one of his handlers. But as he slips outside their control to operate on his own, it will soon become clear that nothing is more dangerous than a wounded and cornered Mitch Rapp.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Story was well paced and exciting. It's well worth the read
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Too possible. Exciting and clever.
I anxiously await book 3. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The actor talked too fast. It was hard for names to sink in before he went to something else. This is probably a book that would be better if read than listened to. Then I go go back and forth and figure out the characters.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Non-stop action!!! Mitch Rapp is a realistic, albeit fictional, hero.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Exquisite! I loved every bit of it. Super thanks to the author and reader

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Enjoyed it from beginning to end. I am currently looking to listen to another one of his books.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very entertaining full of suspense and action. Very good narrator
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good follow up to the first one. I can say I’m hooked.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book. The narrator was also very good, with two minor annoyances: the word "foyer" appears a number of times in this book (and the book is set in France) but the narrator mispronounced it every time, and he also can't pronounce consummate, instead reading it as "con-summit".
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Book Title: "Kill Shot”Author: Vince FlynnPublished By: Atria BooksAge Recommended: 18+Reviewed By: Kitty BullardRaven Rating: 3.5Review: I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I’m not into this genre or if the book just lacked the ‘umph’ I was looking for, but I was unable to really get into it. However, if you are into espionage and CIA hijinks then you’ll very likely enjoy this one. If this is a genre of choice for you I’d say give a try anyway.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5i love the mitch rapp series and couldn't put the book down. it's kindof the second book (or prequel) of the rapp character. it was interesting to see where the characters started. now the one right before this is all about the training and this one takes place right after that and establishing rapp as an assassin. can't wait for another.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent narration for a great story. Listened to it twice.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A decent spy thriller, but I did not enjoy as much as the first one, American Assassin. This story is set in Paris, though it felt as if it could have been almost anywhere. A CIA hit goes bad, and the French police, French spies, and American spies are all in the mix trying to determine what exactly happened. Decent storytelling, but a little too vanilla for my tastes.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is a fast paced spy thriller where you find it hard to put down.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The action was good, sometimes bogged down in repeating information.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Mitch Rapp is a badass excellent book well done .
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It's Mitch Rapp a la Vince Flynn! Can't get any better than that!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Interesting but hard to follow with so many characters and alias'.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5brilliantly written and well narrated. kudos to all behind this.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5nice A decent spy thriller, but I did not enjoy as much as the first one, American Assassin.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Loved this second book as much as the first.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I entered this book after I read it. It started with a prologue, and I skipped it. Last time I read a prologue from this series, it was a spoiler! Hate that. This book reminded me of the bad Tom Clancy Jack Ryan Jr books. Jack Ryan Jr has magic where every decision he makes works out. I don't like it in those books. I am impressed with Vince Flynn because he pulls it off. Good stuff.1,268 members; 3.91 average rating; 1/24/2020
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It would be really hard to not like Mitch Rapp. In this one, his sanctioned mission of retribution gets sidetracked when he's set up, but he's just too darn competent to die when he's supposed to. His new self-assigned mission? Find out who sold him out and...yeah, more retribution. This one's a lot of fun for fans of this sort of thing, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There's nothing new in it in terms of its plot, but it covers familiar ground in solid fashion and establishes some backstory for Rapp himself, given that it's a prequel type of thing. The ending was a bit abrupt, but my only real complaint here is that most of the bad guys are one-dimensional and stereotypical, but that just makes it easier to root against the slimy bastages, I guess.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was not his best book but still intriguing and well written. Fast pace, never a dull moment and well developed characters. Rapp’s got a hit list and in this book, he’s to take out the Libyan oil minister. He does this, but rather rudely finds out there are others there too. The French get involved and it's off to the races. Rapp falls for a girl, who happens to be related to the CIA, violating one of the rules. Good book not excellent.

This is the second book in the series, and tells us part of the early story of Mitch Rapp which was started in American Assasin.Whilst it is the second book in the series it was one of the last ones Vince Flynn wrote before his untimely death from Prostate Cancer - such a big loss! I think I enjoyed this one more than the other two in the series, and am most definitely hooked on the series. If you enjoy espionage books, or action based books - this is the series for you, I can thoroughly recommend it. In this one Mitch has been sabotaged by someone and has to try to get himself out off a tough situation before he is taken out! He is not sure who he can trust, but I'd still back Mitch Rapp any day, not someone to underestimate!
