- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Arthur tells his little sister, Violet, that she can’t read, but it is Arthur who misreads and misinterprets things. He has helped Violet learn to read and win her reading contest, so she shares the contest prize, ice cream sodas for two, with him.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A teacher read this book to my class years ago, either kindergarten or first grade (I forget which), and I recently came across this in a bookstore.
All in all, it's a cute story with a cute ending and an Aesop.
