- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This was a far departure from the first three books in the series. The main character morphed from a city girl to a desert-loving Indian fettish expert. Her refusal to carry a gun after being shot at a few hundred times is ridiculous. And who's boyfriend would come back to them after you abandon them in the middle of a gun fight? The plot's devolution into native weirdness was just out of the blue.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5After reading the previous book in the series, I was disappointed that this had a different voice for the main character, one that seemed to turn Tally into a Valley Girl. The writing, along with the new sing-songy voice, became very slapstick comedy at times, and the “situations” Talky found herself in bordered on the ridiculous.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I highly recommend listening to, or reading, the first 3 books, but any chance of enjoying this 4th book is destroyed by terrible narration and lazy storytelling. It's a sad end to a vibrant, likeable series.
