About this audiobook
Karma Wilson
Karma Wilson's first poem was published at the tender age of six. The poem was ironically titled, "I Don't Wanna Write a Poem!" Growing up, she had no desire to write. But Providence had different plans, and now Karma writes poems for a living when she's not busy being a wife and raising three kids. Karma is the bestselling author of Bear Snores On and Bear Wants More, as well as If I Were a Mouse, Give Thanks to the Lord, and I Will Rejoice.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A sweet early reader in the spirit of Frog and Toad or George and Martha, these two best friends, Mouse and Mole seem to complement one another so well that they must be the fastest of friends. In this tale, Mouse helps Mole see that while stage magic is but the trick of the eye, there really is true magic in the world around us every day if we take time to notice it. The charming illustrations interspersed through out the text go a long way to enhance the storytelling.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Mouse and Mole are excited to see a magic show from Minkus the Magnificent, but when Mole discovers that magic isn't always what it seems Mouse tries to think of a way to show Mole that magic is all around them. This early reader will delight audiences familiar with Lobel's Frog and Toad, though the story is told as a continued narrative rather than separated into multiple stories. Text is formatted appropriately for early readers while illustrations give hints to the actions of the characters. Overall a fun, engaging book for young readers working their way toward chapter books.
