Elizabeth MacPherson finds herself on a remote Scottish island investigating a stone ring with a group of amateur archeologists. When an unexpected injury occures, a series of events follows which leaves two of the party dead and the rest ill. Thee resolution is satisfying.

Fast, interesting mystery! I will have to look for the rest of the series, I believe this was #4, but I didn't really feel like I was missing anything as their was plenty of current explanation about the relationship of the main character and her boyfriend.
