About this audiobook
Voted Most Likely to Succeed, Melanie Bartlett ended up anything but. The down-on-her-luck single mom wants a complete do-over—is that too much to ask? With her family long gone from River Bend, strong, independent Mel is as surprised as anyone to end up in the quaint small town she once called home. But with her friends, Jo and Zoe, by her side, and a comfortable room at Miss Gina’s quirky bed-and-breakfast, she just might have turned the corner on a new life.
Wyatt Gibson never liked the big city. River Bend suits the ruggedly handsome builder just fine. Wyatt knows he’s home, even if that means being charmed by the appearance of Melanie and her spunky, adorable daughter. Is Wyatt’s calm devotion—even amid a coming storm—enough to convince Mel she may have found a home to call her own, a family that never leaves, and a true love to last a lifetime?

Reviews for Doing It Over

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Doing It Over is the first book in the A Most Likely To Novel Book 1. The book revolves around character Melanie Bartlett and her two friends Jo and Zoe that have chosen to return to their hometown where they grew up. Melanie soon finds that going home can be a good thing and gives her the life she always wanted. Author Catherine Bybee interweaves elegantly a story that shows how an individual doesn't need to travel a million miles to find happiness, but instead just needs to look out their front window. I am patiently waiting for book two and three in the A Most Likely to Novel series where the stories focus on Melanie's friends Jo and Zoe.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is book 1 of a new series by Catherine Bybee. I purchased it because I've loved everything I've read written by her. I can tell you right now I'll be reading the rest of the books in the series. She has a way of pulling you right into the story like you're part of it. Her plot line is full of little twists & turns to keep you interested & surprise you along the way. The characters are well thought out & three dimensional. Catherine's writing gets you so emotionally involved with the story, it's easy to place your self right in the scene.
Book 1 is about the girl voted most likely to succeed. Melanie had it all in high school until she graduated. First, her parents decided to divorce, then they "couldn't" pay for college, she got involved with the wrong man & when coming back to town for her reunion, her car dies on her.
Wyatt moved into town while Melanie was away. He's the town's general contractor. When he met Melanie, he knew! Their attraction is more than either expected or wanted. Just when things are finally going well for Melanie, her ex-boyfriend & the father to her little girl, enters the picture. Will Wyatt & Melanie stay committed? What's the ex trying to do?
I loved this book & can't wait for the next in the series!
