- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Surfung Corpse is about these a boy and a girl of a mystery. There mystery is to find Timmy who fell in the river, down the waterfall and into the turbines, of the hydro-plant. Ms. Warner, Timmy's mom, Went to los angelos like she didn't care, taking the 3 or so million dollars she for her life insurance policy if her son died. Hawke and Mackenzie felt like that there is something wrong. A women that get 3 million dollars, move to Los angelos abd doesn't really care what happened. Then it goes on how Timmy isn't dead but did to play with her mom by playing dead. Then in the almost at the end it goes on that a person at the life insurance gave the 3 million dollars, as an evil person, then married her. Then at the end the life insurance guy chases them and he falls down the canyon. Then Timmy tells the truth to her mother.I like this book because I love mysteries. This was a good mystery book because it was funny and exciting at the same time. This book is easy to read. I ranked to a 41/2 because I like mysteries but with fairies and mystical creature. I would encourage people to read this book. It is good for 12-14 years old. I enjoyed it.
