Описание

Tyke Douglas is tired of being the glue that holds the hottest band in the world together. If the rest of the guys are out doing their own thing, then why shouldn't he? He's about to turn things up a notch and bring a whole new level of crazy into Black Falcon's world.

Francine Mead is putting her sordid past behind her. The first step in her new life is taking a job as an addiction counselor, where she can mentor others through their struggles. Francine never expected to be lured back into temptation when her first sexy celebrity client, Tyke Douglas, walks through her door.

Both Tyke and Francine know that a relationship between them would be a disaster, but with each session, things continue to heat up, making it impossible to deny the connection they share. Boundaries cross, attractions heighten, and their willpower will be tested to the very limit.

Contains mature themes.

Now, first you may notice the rating. I am teetering on that one. This wasn't my favorite of the series. I am not sure why. I just wasn't as into it as I was the others.

The book starts out great with Tyke and his downward spiral that lands him into rehab. I really like his character. He isn't the a-hole we have thought him to be in the past. He is just lonely and jealous of the lives his brother and bandmates now have. So he self-medicates and screws random women.

Then you have Francine. A recovering sex addict, who is Tyke's therapist in rehab. I think this is the part where I started to get derailed. I just didn't like her character at all. Not liking her character made it hard to be immersed in the book as much as I liked. Her maturity seemed so much younger than her age. Her character was so non-committal to her own actions. She seemed like one big walking contradiction.

Overall, this book is good. I was just hoping for it to be great. It has all of the qualities Michelle's books have. You get to know the characters so well, even if you didn't want to know them. Haha. Their interactions are vivid. The story-line is unique in its own. If you are a Michelle Valentine fan, you will definitely like this one.

With an abundance of rocker romances out there Ms Valentine still succeeds in bringing something unique to the readers. Tyke and Frannie come to each other thru their biggest struggles and the love they find is unmatched. I love that the book is told from both POVs and that it has drama but isn't driven by said drama. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a solid romance story an isn't afraid of a tattooed back boy who is really just a guy with a heart of gold.
