About this audiobook

I'd dated his brother. He didn't remember and I wish I could forget.

I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn't resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.

Too bad he'd forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.

Because Jensen Wright doesn't share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.

When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

Emery and Jensen have great chemistry from the start. I loved the dynamic between these two and how Jensen was open to sharing his feelings with her. They both showed some vulnerable sides as well as bringing the spice.

There's a lot of drama and conflict scenes added throughout and probably more than was necessary. Emery handled these scenes well and needed runoff at every hurdle. I appreciated that from her character because the story could have easily become repetitive with the same reaction. Their story seemed a little rushed at the end and it could have been a two-parter. The ending with that big reveal that needed more time spent on it. It would have been nice to see Emery and Jensen navigate that together.

I would give this 2 and 1/2 stars. Linde is a great writer and this had a few twists and turns for a fairly straightforward romance, but the last half of the book could have easily been cut out as it segwayed into a surprise kid by another woman, paternity test and custody battle which felt like another story and book post romance to me.
