      My rating range throughout the story... 3.75 - 4.25 Stars

      Main Character Ratings... H = 7/10 - h = 7/10

      Scenes with heat.. A few
      Heat Rating... 7/10

      The back story... The h witnesses her husband kill a man in cold blood, gets away and divorces him. Her sister marries into the Patton family and they get their reclusive brother to hide her away in his remote cabin in the woods.

      The Romance... The romance builds as the MCs help each other deal with and recover from past traumas.

      The drama explosion... The H freaks out (woo Hoo ?) and heads back to the city since she believes it is now safe (a little bit of TSTL).

      Final Notes... I really liked this series as the family of Alpha H's meet and fall in love with strong women who defy the damsel in distress stereotype.

      I wasn't sure about the mom initially but I really got to like her through the series!
