About this audiobook
When Drix was convicted of a crime—one he didn’t commit—he thought his life was over. But opportunity came with the Second Chance Program, the governor’s newest pet project to get delinquents off the streets, rehabilitated and back into society. Drix knows this is his chance to get his life back on track, even if it means being paraded in front of reporters for a while.
Elle knows she lives a life of privilege. As the governor’s daughter, she can open doors with her name alone. But the expectations and pressure to be someone she isn’t may be too much to handle. She wants to follow her own path, whatever that means.
When Drix and Elle meet, their connection is immediate, but so are their problems. Drix is not the type of boy Elle’s parents have in mind for her, and Elle is not the kind of girl who can understand Drix’s messy life.
But sometimes love can breach all barriers.
Fighting against a society that can’t imagine them together, Drix and Elle must push themselves—Drix to confront the truth of the robbery, and Elle to assert her independence—and each other to finally get what they deserve.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5When Drix was arrested for a crime he didn't commit he couldn't prove his innocence. He was put in the Second Chance Program of the governor and this saved his life. At the end of his sentence the governor asks Drix to be the face of his pet project and Drix reluctantly agrees. It will mean media attention, but it's for a good cause, the program changed him and turned him into someone who can make the right choices. However, the governor has a daughter, Elle, and when Drix is around her he doesn't feel very sensible. She's everything he's ever wanted and more, but she's also the one person he isn't allowed to fall in love with, she's completely off limits.
Elle tries to make her parents proud. She's part of her father's campaign and dutifully follows every rule her parents come up with. Her life is starting to suffocate her, because she can never do what she loves. She's living a scheduled and restricted life without any freedom, but when she's with Drix she can be herself. Elle isn't supposed to date him, but also doesn't want to give him up. How can they be together when Elle's parents forbid it? They come from different worlds, do they really have a chance? Will they be able to find the abundance of happiness they both deserve?
Say You'll Remember Me is a beautiful emotional story. Drix made a big mess of his life, but he didn't commit the crime he was arrested for. All Drix cared about was music and the lifestyle it provided and this eventually got him in trouble because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He used every opportunity the Second Chance Program presented and is now much more humble. He's kindhearted and caring and that is how he meets Elle. Elle's dominating parents are ruling her world. She has no room to be the person she wants to be. She's fierce, smart and resourceful, but her parents just focus on her flaws. Drix is the only person who truly sees her. My heart ached for both of them. They are such wonderful talented people and they're each being restricted in their own way. I kept hoping they'd follow their hearts and choose love and couldn't turn the pages quickly enough to find out how their story would end.
Katie McGarry writes amazing stories about teenagers who don't have easy lives. I love how she lets her readers see the world through their eyes. She writes about pain and heartbreak in a fantastic raw and open way. I was captivated by Say You'll Remember Me from the very first page. Drix and Elle are brilliant multilayered main characters and it's impossible not to care about them. I was impressed by Katie McGarry's moving descriptions of their hopes, dreams and wishes. Say You'll Remember Me is a terrific book. I highly recommend this heart-rending romantic story. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good romance book with good characters. Could’ve used a little bit more depth. But overall would recommend for romance lovers.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I cried. So so hard. Best book ever. Loved it!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was long and proceed gradually. There were forbidden love going on. it is cute but the entire book was ‘do they or do they not’ (just kiss the guy already!) which I think, fairly boring and way too long. It started to drag a bit. until last third of the book. something happened and the plot are actually start moving.
I like that they were two protagonists that had their own issues and they were supposed of each other. and overall I do enjoy reading this as a whole.
