Canto di Natale è una delle opere più famose e popolari del genere fantastico. E' un romanzo breve del 1843 dove Scrooge, un ricco avido, egoista e solitario, riceve la visita durante la notte della Vigilia di Natale, dallo spirito del defunto socio in affari, per convincerlo a cambiare vita e portarlo ad apprezzare le piccole grandi gioie della vita, tramite l'aiuto di tre fantasmi : il Natale passato, il Natale presente ed il Natale futuro.

Charles Dickens was born in 1812 and grew up in poverty. This experience influenced ‘Oliver Twist’, the second of his fourteen major novels, which first appeared in 1837. When he died in 1870, he was buried in Poets’ Corner in Westminster Abbey as an indication of his huge popularity as a novelist, which endures to this day.
