About this audiobook

In the beginning…

Three brothers – Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer. Royalty. Archangels. United in devotion to their father and all his works.

But when Lucifer learns of their father’s latest creation – a new race, fashioned from crude matter and yet made in his image – he is consumed with resentment. Why have he and his angelic kind been overlooked?

After a bitter confrontation, Lucifer is cast out, doomed to an eternity of exile and punishment.

Unrepentant, he vows he won’t suffer alone. Mankind has made a powerful enemy – one determined to lure it into darkness and torment any way he can…

I love this book. I love layout, the flow and the way it relates to scripture all the way. It's a masterpiece in my view. Thank you, Wendy. God bless you and your ministry.

It’s one of the best series’s I’ve read( listened too). But could have been condensed into 2 books because it’s overly descriptive. But a must!

Totally appalling. I am giving myself this book on my list as a Credit ie whole book but I am taking it my way. Dip in, analyse it etc. Her Writing is dreadful. Spotted first Plot Hole Mephistopheceles. Am having to gaurd my soul with all the Literary and Linguistic standards to which we should all aspire, Degree Standard and or IGCSE things that should have been done before this deceptive deluded lady foisted her writing on us.

There were a couple of good ideas here, but the book is overwhelmingly a repetitive series of melodramatic vignettes concerning betrayal, contrition, forgiveness, etc.

Loved this book,I couldn't wait for the sequel.Wendy Alec puts us in a place we can only imagine and creates for us a time and place where evil started. She so deftly combined my favorite reads Sci-Fi and religion.

LOVED this book. As a closet-Trekkie, I have a great love for "science" fiction, but to have a story that is creation-themed is rare indeed. Given that none of us on this earth were there when Lucifer fell, the author brilliantly puts the reader right in the middle of events, as they unfold, and stories in scripture are told in the "from above" point-of-view. The angels are given entirely too much credit for the running of earth and protecting those strange beings that the Christos so loves, and for that matter, He is entirely too rarely accessible according to what we have been taught. Makes for great reading, though, and my husband started to wonder what I was doing reading so late--I stayed up all night to finish it, that's how much I couldn't put it down. STILL waiting to get my hands on the sequel, but don't have time for a reading marathon right now anyway. LOVED the book, and so did my 13-year-old daughter!

This book is beautiful in its imagery of Heaven and its depiction of God's love for mankind. It really made me think about Lucifer's fall from grace. It kind of makes you get inside his head... which is a very scary place to be. Definately a one-of-a-kind novel. Love it, and anticipate its sequal!
