- (4/5)I liked this book as well as the first.. but holy hell.. i was not expecting it to go as dark as it did. I mean.. if you don't have a strong sense of self and a strong stomach, you don't need to be reading this book. it will challenge you at every turn. I'm so glad that even though Ericka was seen as "naive", she was not a pushover. She stood up for herself and for her family regardless of how many cold-hearted bikers were around to possible do bodily harm. She was fierce.. I love it! Dom, was a favorite from.. okay so not at first appearance but maybe like the 3rd.. strong alpha male that just wants to protect what's his. That is my jam. Great listen Betty Shreffler!
