About this audiobook

Stranded in a time and place he never wished for, Kishan Rajaram struggles to forget the girl he loves and the brother who stole her away as he fulfills his divine role-that of assisting the beautiful, yet extremely irritable, goddess Durga.

When the wily shaman Phet appears and tells Kishan that Kelsey needs him, he jumps at the chance to see her again, but in saving Kelsey, he discovers that the curse he thought was over is just beginning. As time unravels around him, Kishan realizes that the fates of all those he holds dear lie in his hands.

With the power of the goddess hanging in the balance, Kishan must sacrifice the unthinkable to fight the dark forces swirling around the woman he's charged to defend. As he does, he discovers that love and loyalty create their own magic and accepts that he must decide his destiny once and for all.

Those familiar with the other Tiger's Curse books will enjoy Tiger's Dream. This is Kishan's story told from before he even met Kelesy until the moment he gives her up and beyond. Kishan is making a life with Animika who is really the goddess, Durga, but he continues to pine for Kelsey even though he left her with Ren. When Kadam comes to Kishan disguised as Phet and tells him that Kelsey needs him, Kishan sees that there might be a chance for him with her after all. But what of his promise to be the consort of Animka and his growing fondness for her. The story gives fans all they will need to enjoy this last look into the lives of these characters.
I did think that some parts of this book were overly long and made points over again that had already been made. Also I was a little unhappy with the fact that most of this story makes Kelsey and Ren's journey seemed contrived by the gods just to give them something to do in order to lead them to this point in their lives. However the story did give background and further developed characters that played limited parts in the previous stories. Overall, this was a pretty good ending to a very good series.
