After reading the first three Deathstalker novels, I took a long break and read other books. Now I wish I hadn't. Deathstalker Honor picks up right where Deathstalker War left off, at the end of the rebellion and the overthrow of Empress Lionstone. All of the storylines are continued, and Owen is challenged almost beyond what even his maze-enhanced body can do. Now that the rebellion is over, humanities' enemies are closing in to take advantage of its weakness. The rogue AIs of Shub and the Hadenmen start their own wars, and it's up to Own, Hazel, Jack, Ruby, and Tobias Moon (yes, Tobias returns!) to save the day. This book was an excellent follow-up to the previous three and despite its length is an engaging read.
