I loved it but the ending was a bit unsatisfying.

Pretty good .... I enjoyed the story, though it is rather short for my taste. Definitely worth your time if u enjoy historical fiction like I do.

This was okay. It didn't really grab me, but there were some interesting parts. Overall kind of 'meh'.

Lord John Grey is ending his time as governor of Jamaica when word reaches him that his mother is in Cuba and needs his help. A short, fast-paced (sorta) action adventure.

This is the most recently written off Diana Gabaldon's Lord John Grey series. I have now completed my reading of that series, and her Outlander series. This happens to have been my least favorite of all of those books, but I'd still probably rate it 4 out of 5*. This book didn't seem to have much of a climax compared to her others, but it still allowed me to be in their world for a bit.
