About this audiobook

Beast. Creature. Monster.

Dangerous.

All of these things have been said about Gren.

Willa doesn't believe it, though. She knows that monsters can sometimes come in appealing packages. She knows that for all of his snarls and fearsome appearance, he'd never hurt her.

And she knows she has to get Gren away from the Icehome camp, because no one will ever see him as a person, not when he attacks all who come close. Not when he's tied and treated like an animal.

She's going to save him . . . or fall in love. Maybe both. Willa doesn't mind that he's a beast, as long as he's her beast.

Contains mature themes.

This was the weirdest book I read/heard in a while...... I think I am dying of clinginess. Wow that was gross.

Good story...really found Willa annoying and rude. How southern drawl was so over the top, and hiding her sarcasm and rudeness behind it. Because she had her own issues with trust, without understand the situation in the beginning held the tribe solely responsible for the treatment of Gren, when he also contributed. She continually projected her mistrust of the tribe onto Gren. Again, another major female lead that is the initiator of her and someone else's drama. Jumps in with no planning and figures they can just 'barrel through' any problem, and when it goes wrong it's someone else's fault.

I would like to point out that I was raised on a farm and Willa is dumb and rude. Willa would cuddle up with a baby rattlesnake thinking it was misunderstood.

I did not expect to like it, Compared to the story about the dragon and the story is actually quite good

I'd recommend reading starting this book before Veronica's Dragon and where the characters meet up, switch back and forth. These two happen roughly at the same time, but Willa's Beast starts before Veronica's Dragon and ends after it.

But also, Id read 'Bad Guy' before starting either of these two as it will put the gladiator slaves' experience into context.

This book is just ok for me. Grinn is interesting, abut Willa is increasingly irrational as the book progresses. The final few chapters do redeem the characters a bit.

Very good! Such a sweet story with a lovable monster alien and a strong, feisty heroine.
