It’s time for a black exit.

Political activist and social media star Candace Owens addresses the many ways that Democrat Party policies hurt, rather than help, the African American community, and why she and many others are turning right.

Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned.

She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American Dream. Instead, Owens offers up a different ideology by issuing a challenge: It’s time for a major black exodus. From dependency, from victimhood, from miseducation—and the Democrat Party, which perpetuates all three.

Owens explains that government assistance is a double-edged sword, that the Left dismisses the faith so important to the black community, that Democrat permissiveness toward abortion disproportionately affects black babies, that the #MeToo movement hurts black men, and much more. Weaving in her personal story, which ushered her from a roach-infested low-income apartment to1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, she demonstrates how she overcame her setbacks and challenges despite the cultural expectation that she should embrace a victim mentality.

Well-researched and intelligently argued, Blackout lays bare the myth that all black people should vote Democrat—and shows why turning to the right will leave them happier, more successful, and more self-sufficient.

Democrat party continues to be the party of slavery . Democrat stonghold cities, like Canadian Reserves, perpetuate victimhood ghettoization.
Liberals have had decades and trillions to develop their progressivist policies and theyve produced apocoalyptic ghetto hell holes. Their policies are either cosmically stupid or demonically evil.

Pretty blatant propaganda price with pretty obvious flavored language used to convey an ideology. Really poor price of literature. On top of this Candace Owens reads like she doesn’t even believe what she’s saying. I’ve heard text-to-speech that sounds better.

Thought provoking. Able to grab and hold my attention. Much more than I can say for many authors.

This book is a joke. A money-making scheme meant to impress the itching ears of those who already affirm what she has to say. It's not worth the time I took to listen to the audio version. And trying to tell people to reject the Democratic Party, Candice falls into the same trap of not following her own advice regarding the Republican Party. And rather interestingly where I find this book to be weakest is in how short it is on material.

This book is an inspiration. It made me realize just how bad the democrats are and what sick tools they use to keep people subjugated even now after so many years.
Thank you for this eye opening revelation
God bless you & God bless America!

Where do I even begin with this? Candace Owens might have good intentions but this book is written by someone who exhibits symptoms of extreme tunnel vision and the fact that she is trying to stop white liberals from telling black people how to feel but cannot even see that most of the time she is the token black woman for white Republicans. There are so many hypocrisies within this book. Some facts are true but often misconstrued to serve her views. Also white Republicans Candace Owens does not represent me as a black woman or my views.

This is an amazing book that everyone should read. This book makes sense of things that I didn't understand about current day politics. Like why is President Trump labeled as a racist. This book goes into the history of the Democratic party and allows you to see how they really think.

Candice is stirring the pot in the best way possible. She’s able to identify clear problems with society and speaks about topics many are to afraid to discuss. Whilst I don’t agree with everything she says it’s definitely worth the read!

I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to express how much I L♡VED this book. Candace has a gift, and thankfully, the voice to share her experience with AMERICANS. Not just black-Americans, or white-Americans, but with ALL AMERICANS! I cannot sing the praises of "Blackout" loud enough. That said, I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE, regardless of skin color or political affiliation, seriously. ENJOY! ~Kristen Snow•White

Candle Owens presents a reasoned and sane explanation of what is wrong with America today and what to do to fix it. The values she espouses - taking responsibility for your actions, taking advantage of the enormous opportunities America uniquely offers you to to succeed by dint of self-belief and hard work - are not just ones to which black people might aspire, but are universal, making Ms Owens book an enlightening and inspiring read, even if you do not happen to be black.

Loved it! She gave her perspective on growing up black in America and her view of history and the government “helping” the blacks and it’s consequences. Personal responsibility and work ethic holds a higher importance than skin color.

This book is the new history book for my homeschooled children. Thank you Candace for your candor and courage. This book has renewed my mind as we are instructed to do in Romans 12:2 "...and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. May the One true and living God continue to bless the work of your hands. Powerful Book!
