About this audiobook

He was just supposed to be saving her from herself . . . and the half dozen criminal enterprises that would want her blood when they realized what she had done.

What he hadn't planned on was her invading every aspect of his life with her fiery temper and inability to take no for an answer. And when he finally got beneath her walls and found out why she had gotten herself into trouble in the first place, he knew what he needed to do.

He sure as hell didn't think he would end up being the one who would need saving . . .

TRIGGERS: SEXUAL ASSAULT, RAPE, CHILD ABUSE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, GRUESOME MURDER, CORRUPT CHIPS. ok, this book was extremely long and a very slow burn. I love when an author takes a book from a series and picks it up right where they left off in the previous book, but also backtracks a little to remind the reader of the things that happened before. So, it's after Janie plays "go boom" on the major players' buildings and Wolf takes her to his cabin in the woods. There is not a real discussion why he's doing it, when it's because of Lo, Cash's girlfriend, because she needs to heal from her burns or to turn her in to the club. One thing I didn't quite understand was why Wolf could not speak in complete sentences. I loved the banter between him and Janie and the chemistry that they are clearly fighting. The backstory for both of them is so dark that it's hard to unhear, or unread the wretchedness that comes out of the author's mind. The book is really good and you'll never understand how strong Janie is until you read this book. So if the women so far in this series are a force to be reckoned with and I am here for it.
