About this series

"Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.

Performed by Colleen Delany, Natalie Van Sistine, Jon Vertullo, Aure Nash, Renee Dorian, Anthony Palmini, Melody Muze, Nora Achrati, Matthew Bassett, Shawn K. I admit, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the ACOTAR series. It went viral on BookTok and I admit to judging it prematurely. Yes, there is sex & language, but it’s not indulgant or overwhelming. It fits the scenarios & is respectful to the characters involved. They also play a part in what happens. Surprisingly, like how sex in real life affects people, their interactions, & decisions.

That said, the story is very interesting. The inspiration from Celtic mythology is intriguing. Especially to me who had one of those black hole deep dives into Celtic mythos.

The characters are lovable & complex. It helps that their voice actors portray them so well. I look forward to more.

Okay. This is not an original thought, but this book is hot garbage. The author’s ability to write such shallow characters is truly award worthy. The dialogue sounds like an Ai generated script adaptation on beauty and the beast. Because it can’t have been written by someone who has ever had a conversation.

The story was initially very slow and almost uninteresting. I didn’t enjoy the narrator’s voice, it made everything sooo slow. I forced myself to finish it and in the last 3 hours it became interesting and kept me listening.

Of all the books of the series. I think this is my favorite. It’s an artful insightful look at grief, and the journey of dealing with past traumas. Learning to trust and believe and love one’s self enough to turn that love outward. What a beautiful story about a bad ass Woman.

I loved it. I thought ACOMAF was my favorite until I read this one. I cried I laughed I felt so many emotions and I wish I could go back and relive the experience of reading this again for the first time

I just don’t understand the fuzz about this book - it is insanely slow at the beginning and doesn’t truly have anything with substance until about chapter 30ish or so and even then I could care less for the story

I love these dramatized audiobooks. The fact each character gets their own voice. It’s hard to put my AirPod down. It took a little to get into the first book, but god damn… ????

Ive read the books and now im reading and listening along! Love it. Some things are left out but its so help the flow. Only when characters are speaking. No key details are left. This part covers chapter 1 - 32. Amazing! I’d love to voice work.
