Ragnar Jónasson
RAGNAR JÓNASSON is an international number one award-winning and bestselling author who has sold over four million books in thirty-six territories worldwide. He is the only Icelandic author to have entered the Wall Street Journal bestseller list. Jónasson was born in Reykjavik, where he also teaches copyright law at Reykjavík University. He has previously worked on radio and television, including as a TV news reporter, and, since the age of seventeen, has translated fourteen of Agatha Christie’s novels into Icelandic. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5For a Police Officer, Hulda’s absolutely clueless. Her daughter is showing signs of possible sexual abuse, and they let some stranger come in their house and offer to let him stay indefinately. Then she goes outside, leaving her daughter alone with the stranger. As a cop, she shows more concernfor a missing girl than for her own loved ones. On the plus side, the atmosphere is remote, lonely, and verging on creepy! Just when I think something has to change, it does and I can’t walk awAy.
