About this audiobook

From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes a snarky Mystery with a side dish of Romance and two sprinkles of chaos, THE LIBRARIAN’S VAMPIRE ASSISTANT, Book Four. (Yep! These books are standalones. But the more you read, the merrier!)

SHE’S MINE. BUT HAS SHE FORGOTTEN?

A crazy vampire has stolen my librarian. And if that’s not bad enough, it is my fault. Because I, too, am an ancient, deadly vampire, and it was my job to protect her. I failed.

Now, just as I have reason to hope I will get her back, the situation turns into the biggest mystery of my existence.

Apparently, this evil vampire has brainwashed her into thinking she belongs with him. I do not know how. I do not know why. But I will get to the bottom of this and win her back.

Because I am the motherf*!$%ing librarian’s vampire assistant, and she belongs to me. Or, at least she used to?

No romance in this book but lots of twists and turns.

Book one was pleasant, books 2 and 3 upped the game a bit (aside from the horrible, yet ridiculously hilarious, sex scenes, which i ended up skipping through in order to be able to enjoy the rest of the tale), but book 4 has had more drama and been a bit repetitive for my taste.
Though admittedly, some of the annoying drama is due to how WELL the narrator does the voice of lula, who has become not so much "adorable" in tone as annoying. But i've invested up to book four, so i will wait it out and finish the series.
i really must note, however, that although the whole mr. "nice" thing does add some pun opportunities and humour, the author is apparently unaware that the name nicephorus is NOT pronounced "nice" phorus, it's a hard C, 'nee-keh' phorus. After four books, it's simply driven me crazy at this point, haha!

Completely disappointing don't bother with it. I don't know what she was thinking writing this depressing book. Oh it also ends on a cliffhanger with no following book. If she writes book 5 then mabe she can salvage this series.
